How Can bilateral Polycystic Ovaries Be Treated?

Hi. I have been diagnosed with bilateral polycystic ovaries . My periods are regular.. with a 28 day cycle. I am slim built. The ultrasound shows that I also hv a 1 cm cornical cyst in the mid pole region of my right kidney. I am 26 year old married women and plan the concieve next year. Will there be any difficulties because of these symptoms.

Hi, in pcos patients the problem is with ovulation. So, there may be some problems in conceiving. You can track your ovulation by repeated ultrasound or ovulation detection kits. If ovulation is happening, then you can try naturally for 1 year. Be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. It will increase chances of your pregnancy. But if ovulation is not happening, you may need some medicines for that. Cortical cyst in kidney is not a major issue. You can consult a urologist for that.
